Richter’s exhibition at the Galerie Heiner Friedrich ran from May 2 to June 4, 1967. The thirty exhibited works included several grey landscape paintings, pornographic works as well as Richter’s landmark installation 4 Glasscheiben (4 Panes of Glass) which was conceived as a response to The Large Glass by Marcel Duchamp.
