Numerous photographic plates and illustrations. Japanese text. Small 8vo. Original printed wrappers, slightly rubbed edges, overall a very good copy. This is the first book Hamaya published and it is slightly unfortunate for showing on the front cover a few German chaps with a Nazi flag in the right corner. But the book itself is certainly devoid of any political tendency and it shows all the hallmarks of Hamaya's genius. The present is vol 10 of the 53 vol. Ars Shashin Bunko Series. The first edition was published in 1939. No copy in OCLC. with a vintage print
