Masao Horino - Sakuhin to Saho - 1937

In 1926 under the auspices of Asahi Newspaper Co. some four-hundred amateur clubs from Kanto and Kansai were amalgamated into the all-Japan Association of Photographic Societies (Zen Nihon Shashin Renmei), a broad national association of Photographic Society that aimed to go beyond styles and schools. In the present work a total of one hundred and four contributions by amateur members were selected by Horino Masao, with textual contributions by some of the leading photographers at the time.
