Tadanori Yokoo - Shoot Diary - 1981

Photo illustrated wrappers, with printed wrap-around band. Tadanori Yokoo, 1936 -, is regarded as one of Japan most in innovative graphic artists. It was in the 1970's that he became known internationally, with regular exhibitions in Europe, America, and Asia. For the entire decade, his friend, photographer Tadashi Kurahashi photographed him in this diary form, often with inked in comments on the images. The camera follows Yokoo in his studio, at galleries, trips abroad, at home, in prayer, at the beach, in fact, nowhere does the camera eye exclude.
